Those who will be appearing in front of you (in no particular order):
Ed Dowie - Ed has been making music since the late 1990s, firstly as one third of Parlophone's Brothers in Sound, then a solo career as Redarthur. He is charming, talented and self-effacing. Bring it on Ed!Marie Lloyd's Music Hall - Sarah Doyle, Jude CM and Matt Armstrong upstage any Music Hall greats will nilly. Don’t dilly dally, and bring your spoons.
Steve Loveburns - Main main man from the exceptional Loveburns! Burn, roast, fry, come alive in his musical fire, and then put out your soulflames with beer. He’s very good.
Trombone Poetry - Mr Paul Taylor blows and spouts beautifully and eloquently. Savour fifteen minutes of verse and brass.
Matt Scott - Mr Scott has entertained us in the past as Squeezebox Jukebox with his hot accordion action and will continue tonight with his 'dysfunctional and evolving concerto for accordion'.
B'layachi - Acoustic set from Yusuf Bl'ayachi who has performed in the past at The Orchestra Pit with left field guitar power trio Dear Thief. enjoy 15 minutes of acoustic off kilter bliss.
Graham Dowdall - he has a new cassette to promote!.... not said that in a while - 'Outside Broadcast' is a departure from the more beat-driven glitchy style of Gagarin and is an evocation of childhood evenings sitting at an old “Portable” radio, obsessively tuning bakelite dials across the airwaves..... old style entertainment comes to Scaledown as we gather around the RadioGraham.
