(Friday 11th December 2015)
The Orchestra Pit Christmas shwing ding rolls into town on Friday and shall START PROMPTLY AT 7.30pm of the clock. A reindeer tells us that our dear co host JUDE COWAN MONTAGUE has written a PANTO and, as we write, it's all 'hush hush'. Our facebook page may 'unhush unhush' this in good time. Following this extravaganza are the tinselly acts which are in no particular order:
COS CHAPMAN - Here's a man that does not come bearing gifts... except of course the gift of entertainment courtesy of his bag of electrical items..... I'm dreaming of a Black & Decker Christmas, oh yes.
SIMON&thePOPE - It's the boys from Warrior Square again, bringing back their punk-funk suitcase packed full of tunes, including their new 7" "Beats Workin'", as championed by BBC6's Gideon Coe and The Freak Zone.
BETTINA SCHROEDER and JUDE COWAN MONTAGUE - The Sounds of the Season. Oh, it looks like reindeer. Have yourself a fairy merry Christmas. Camels welcome.
GERALDINE GALLAVARDIN - Concept artist and performer creates a new exploratory piece especially for Scaledown. Marcel Duchamp, Georges Braque and Sonic Potatoes.
THE UNRELIABLE WITNESSES - Comprising, Barry Stir, Miss de Meaner, and Grant Bale. Any resemblance to Cos Chapman, Marina Young and Lee McFadden is currently subject to legal scrutiny and shall not be debated upon.
THE ORIGINAL BEEKEEPERS - This off kilter and eccentric combo have been playing on and off for over 30 years and make a long overdue but warmly welcomed return to the scaledown family
As ever, it is FREE! Come and hear/see the scaled down performances. DOORS OPEN AT 7.30 PM of the clock. FIFTEEN MINUTES PER ACT! Come along to:
