(Friday 27th January 2017)
A very happy scaledown year to you all. Now that Epiphany has popped off and decorations are deceased for now, we welcome you back into the fold where our artistic livestock crow, squeak, howl, whine, and grunt beautifully for theirs and your aural pleasure in no particular order:
TROMBONE POETRY - A rasp and a stanza as Mr. Trombone himself returns to the boards of scaledown to unleash the words and blow the 'bone ;)
PROFESSOR BABA AND HIS INVISIBLE BAND - Professor Baba is 'A Supernatural Specialist in the Healing Power of Black-Magic Rock 'n' Roll'. Here him as he works his voodoo gumbo atcha
MJ HIBBETT - leaving his Validators behind, and gracing the Scaledown stage solo, here is a man clearly who grasps concepts. in fact he's probably composing a witty wordplay song involving a concept now... maybe one day these concepts will evolve into a whole album. I'm rambling now.... MJ Hibbett the musical don of Stratford City ...embrace him.
COS CHAPMAN - "What's in the bag?" we hear you cry. nobody knows ... that's the whole bloody point. the artist Cos Chapman is not sponsored by Ronco.
JOSEPH SAKOILSKY - He is the owl. He is acoustic folk punk. He is Joseph Sakoilsky. Anyone got a problem with that?
MICHAEL SHAW - ... will be surprising us. Mobile phones, music, toothbrushes and electronic socks. Bring spatulas.
As ever, it is FREE! Come and hear/see the scaled down performances. DOORS OPEN AT 7.30 PM of the clock for an 8pm start. FIFTEEN MINUTES PER ACT! Come along to:
