The Orchestra Pit   As part of this years London Jazz Festival The Orchestra Pit presents an evening of distinctly unique and interesting music at the Arts Theatre Club in Soho, full details here.


Scaledown Act Update

Scaledown   The Devil will now not be performing at Friday's Scaldown, they will play in November instead. In their place, on Friday, will be our very own Mr Braby performing his unique and quirky tunes under the moniker Braby Lemonade. Full details can be found here. There's also now a Facebook Event Page which can be used to invite your friends along.

OP4   The recent Terry Edwards and the Scapegoats single, Three Blind Mice, has been receiving radio airplay far and wide, here are some of the people who've been playing it:

Scaledown Acts Confirmed

Scaledown   All of the acts have been confirmed for the welcome return of Scaledown next Friday, 31st October. Full details can now be found here.


Lost Robots Album

TOPRC   The next release by The Orchestra Pit Recording Company will be "No" by Lost Robots. This will be our first full length album release, due out at the beginning of December, watch this space for more info and news of a launch gig.

McDeath Trio   A video excerpt of The McDeath Trio's recent performance at The Orchestra Pit has been added to the event page.


Blurt single released 15/09/08

op5   The fifth release to sally forth from the Orchestra Pit stables is a 7" single by the inimitable Blurt. Repetitious and infectious grooves of solid robotic drumming combine with minimalist guitar patterns, wild bursts of free form sax and dramatically demonic vocals.
