Those who will be performing at the fifty sixth Scaledown (in no particular order):
Timothy C Holehouse – Mr Holehouse returns to Scaledown with a set of electronic ambient noise material this month. Using a mixture of broken guitar pedals and charity shop drum machines… tones, drones, clicks, pops and moans.
Paul Jonathan Riley – Chaos and beauty seem to by on the agenda with this songsmith. We believe certain melodious kookiness might trickle from his voice and strings tonight.
Lost Robots - Scaledown favourites Lost Robots return once more to delight and enthral us with their wonderfully textured improvisational skills.
Richard Sanderson and Paul May - Ex-curator Richard Sanderson makes a welcome return to the hallowed halls of Scaledown with an improvisation performance featuring melodeon through electronics assisted by the percussive brilliance of Paul May.
Belle Atmos - Post-apocalyptic noir soundtrack jazz from this London based collective whose industrial cinematic sound is as enervating as it is unnerving.
Dan Whaley & His Ukulele - Returning for a 9th (or 11th depending on how you count it) appearance at Scaledown, Mr Whaley and his trusty ukulele will be playing a selection of numbers originally performed by some of the acts he booked back when he was a Scaledown co-curator.
