Those who did appear (in no particular order):
Robert James Selby - tangled poetry from our boy Robert, making his long overdue Scaledown debut, this romantic troubadour is in search of the truth. will he find it upstairs at the K&Q?.... who knows, but am sure he will charm your collective socks off.
Bob Constant - sans the GB Gee Gees, solo Bob will no doubt still provide wonky pop of the highest order.... i could actually ask him what he's gonna do, but hey, i like to be surprised too, but my guess is fractured beats and a touch of beat-up soul...... everyone deserves their fifteen minutes of pain.
Matthew Caley - Glaciers, Roadrunner, Louis Zukofsky, this elegant, witty poet will enable Scaledown to enter his parallel Proustian universe - afterwards, maybe you'll go home with a copy of 'Apparently' (the title of his most recent collection on Bloodaxe Books), the perfect tome to help you dazzle at those university cocktail parties.
Listen Lisse - Lisa McKendrick is an urban country story teller. Liquor, eagles, love, crime, fevers, thrills ... kinda rock chick who keeps it fresh .Kay Grant - The wonderful Ms Grant returns to Scaledown where she will performing a set of vocal electronics-a rare treat, coupled with the fact that this will sadly be Kay's last performance for a while. Let's hope the while is only a wee one.
Oink A 'folk/funk/la la la outfit' courtesy of Mr D Anthony Thompson who will be playing all the hits, one of which is entitled 'Penis Enlargement'. cock a doodle doo.
